I discovered Cry, Cry, Cry by way of Cliff Eberhardt. He mentioned, during a concert, that Lucy Kaplansky, et al, were covering his song "Memphis" on their CD. It took me awhile to locate the CD, but once I did, I knew I had to see them. Luckily, they were appearing in Charlotte relatively soon and I've discovered, through them, another whole vein of new folk artists to mine. Dar and Richard were new to me, but I look forward to listening to much more of their music. |
